PRAYER CELL

Children and parents came together on a Sat evening in June for a time of fellowship, sharing and prayer at the bimonthly prayer cells. The children took the initiative to lead singing, testify and pray while Wincy, our School Programme Lead, shared from the Word. The theme for the evening was Persisting in Prayer.

VOLUNTEERS

Two of our students who passed their 12th Std. and are waiting for their colleges academic years to commence, Ms. Barani and Mr. Balaji, have become our volunteer tutors at our Study Centre. They are the FIRST EVER Eternus students helping us by teaching their younger friends. A giving back to the Eternus Juniors from the Eternus Seniors - a proud moment!

INTAKE OF CHILDREN

Worked with the Satya School and the St. Thomas School to take 8 and 10 of their students respectively, into our programme. The schools facilitated a meeting for us with the parents of the children, post which the Eternus assessment visits to their houses were done.

We now welcome 18 NEW children to the Eternus family.

SESSIONS - College Students

The Eternus sessions for most of the College students began in June, along with their academic year. There is now a mixed group of 1st, 2nd and 3rd year college students.

The sessions are spread across the week at different timings to account for individual college schedules.

The focus is on spoken English, group discussions, computer training in MS-Word and exercises in creativity. Students are at different levels of involvement and understanding yet their interaction and learning together enables continuous improvement.
